There’s no one-size-fits-all. Your ideal warmup volume depends on:
Your email provider (ESP)
The type of account (Microsoft, Google, custom domain)
Your current cold sending volume
Here are our general guidelines:
For Microsoft:
2–4 cold emails/day
2–4 warmup emails/day
Max 3 warmup replies (settable in Bison settings)
For Google:
Use a 1.5:1 ratio of warmup to cold emails
Sending too many warmups can cause bounces and lower your score, so always balance based on your account type and usage.
